2. What are the costs?

3. What are the registration requirements?

The normal registration is held during the last week of July from 8 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday in the Legal Offices of the lawyer Hazel Margarita Alvarado de Wesson next to the La Canasta Supermarket.

Pre-school Students:

• Original Birth Certificate
• 2 Photographs (ID size)
• Presence of Mother, Father, or Guardian

First time registrants to other grades:

• Original Birth Certificate
• Certificate of Studies and Behavior from the previous school
• Transfer from other Bilingual School
• Admissions Placement Test to determine best level of study in Southwest School

Returning Students:

• Presence of Mother, Father, or Guardian

4. Are there admissions placement tests?

If the incoming student is entering Kindergarten ("Preparatoria") through Middle School, he/she must take an admissions placement test to determine the grade for which the student is best suited academically prior to admission. Back to top

5. What are the important dates?

Our coming school year will begin on Monday, August 23, 2004 and will end on June 25, 2005. We will have a three week vacation at Christmas and a week vacation during Holy Week. Back to top

6. Is there a school bus service?

Southwest School, through Transportes Sur-occidente, has a bus service to transport our students to school and back home. Back to top

7. What is the school schedule?

Classes are held from Monday through Friday according to the following schedule:
Pre-school "Kinder" - 8:00 am to 12:00 noon
Kindergarten "Preparatoria" through Middle School - 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
After-school clubs and tutoring - 3:10 pm to 4:00 pm
